I’m Pat Malia, and I’m so excited to talk about God’s everlasting love with you. Whether you are a follower of Jesus, struggling with your faith in Him, or not quite sure what you believe, then you are not alone, and the great news is God’s love is unfailing, it’s available to everyone, and it’s eternal! What that means for you and me is that no matter what we may be facing or where we are in life right now, nothing and no one can change God’s everlasting love for us.

To understand why I believe in God’s everlasting love and why I’m so passionate about it, you have to know where I was before I decided to put my faith in Jesus. You see, experiencing God’s love was not something I just woke up one day, and suddenly I knew and believed. It was a process and a journey of discovering who God is and why He loves us and gave so much for us (John 3:16).

Growing up, I went to church, but never truly embraced the Christian faith, perhaps because I didn’t fully understand what it meant to follow Jesus and have a relationship with Him. I used to believe that I couldn’t measure up and had to earn God’s love somehow through good works. It took challenges along life’s journey and humility to realize that I can do nothing apart from Him.

Through daily Scripture reading, prayer, and meditating on His Word, I have come to a saving knowledge of His grace. I’m learning that I can’t live the Christian life alone. I need the indwelling Holy Spirit to help me navigate life when it doesn’t make sense, as well as fellowship with other believers and those curious about who Jesus Christ really is.

I hope that you will feel at home here, that no matter what you are dealing with right now, where you are in life, and what you believe, you will come to know God’s everlasting love.
